The Gloppefjord Summer Hotel is located in Vereide, a small village in the Gloppen district. The summer hotel is 7 kilometres from the little town of Sandane, and 4 kilometres from Anda Airport. The hotel is conveniently near the E39, and the bus station has daily busses driving to/from Oslo, Bergen and Trondheim. The Gloppen district is a part of Nordfjord which lies north in Sogn and Fjordane. There are large distances in the West of Norway, but with being located in the heart of Nordfjord you will have the opportunity to have wonderful experiences right in your neighbourhood! You can arrange day trips to Stadt, the white sand beaches at Refivksanden, the blue glacier in Birkedalen or to the summer ski resort at the Stryn Mountain.
During the year, except for the summer months, the summer hotel is a school which has focus on outdoor sports. This means that the location is perfect for those who want an active holiday. Many activities are in the near surroundings of our hotel; this gives our guests a lot of options for different sport and leisure activities in and around Nordfjord.

If you are looking for more of a relaxed and quiet vaction this is also something for you. Even though the hotel is located close to the E39, we are never disturbed by heavy traffic. There is also no noise during the evenings since there are no restaurants or other public places in the area. The hotel is a good option for families with children because you can safely let the children play on and around the hotel premises, should it be badminton or football on the field or in the gym.
